The 46th Annual San Diego Bay Parade of Lights will be held December 10th and 17th this year. This is one of the most anticipated events of the holiday season! The theme for this year’s parade is “Arrrgh! A Pirate’s Christmas”. This year’s parade will have a fun Christmas in the Caribbean feel which is perfect for a San Diego boat parade. The parade will start at 5 pm, but it is recommended to get there early to find parking and get a good spot for the parade. The Port of San Diego brings in more than 100,000 San Diego locals and tourists for this parade. This is a timeless tradition that has been honored and upheld for 46 years! The San Diego Bay Parade of Lights is San Diego’s biggest and brightest boat parade in the area even arguably in Southern California. The boating community of San Diego Bay keeps this festive tradition alive and going each year for the community of San Diego! There will be more than 80 extravagantly decorated boats participating in the parade. This is a great family-friendly parade that will put holiday cheer, awe, and excitement on your children’s face. It is definitely an event you and your family don’t want to miss!
